This charming and perfectly outfitted one bedroom is located in a trendy, urban, neighbourhood with a plethora of shops, fantastic restaurants, theatre, art galleries, food stores, parks, bicycling and walking paths and beaches nearby.

This property is only suitable for a single person or a couple. Children and pets are unsuited for this space.

This is the upper unit of a duplex/up & down unit. It is entirely private with its own entrance. Shared space is patio and driveway ONLY.

The space
Fantastic location in Ottawa, close to major public transportation stop, and bicycling, walking, running paths. Walk everywhere. This property is 380 square feet or 32 meters.

This is a war time legal duplex that was originally constructed in 1945. The property has been entirely renovated from scratch. This unit is on the second floor. It has its own private entrance. You will use a staircase of 12 steps from the front door to the second level. The space is open concept. It has a charming, modern and fully equipped kitchen, small dining area and sitting area (kitchen/dining/seating combined) which make up half of the Suite. The other half of the Suite contains the bedroom,storage, desk, closet, washroom and washer/dryer.

The entire space is compact, very open, bright and quiet (due to the original brick walls that are quite thick).

The furnishings are very comfortable, there is a complete kitchen and the bathroom is a very nice size. This is a great work from home space. Parking for one car is provided.

Parking for one car, access to a shared backyard with a wooden deck and BBQ.

Other things to note
Everyone who has stayed at this location loves it.

The only shared space is the driveway and the patio & BBQ. Each Suite is separate with their own private entrances.

There is a cleaning fee attached to this rental which is paid directly to a third party cleaning firm. Their service includes a 100 point checklist as well as the laundering and ironing of the bed linens (removal of all linens, washing of mattress cover, all sheets, pillowcases, and duvet cover and replacing of any stained or soiled pillows and duvets) and then the beds made up again. We have found over the years that a opinions of "clean" vary from guest to guest so this is the best way for us to maintain our high standard of cleanliness at the property.
