We are right in the heart of the oldest part of our little city. This is wonderfully convenient, for us and guests, to enjoy walking to the local events.

Nichols State University, and Thibodaux Regional Medical Center, are both about 1.5 miles away.

**private room in our home; it is a shared bathroom**

**regardless of booking date, I require communication the DAY BEFORE check in to coordinate with you**

**we do have pets; see below (and photos) for description**

The space
Flat screen with Roku, Netflix, Hulu, YouTube TV, and Amazon in guest room.

I've been told our home was an old country store going back 80-100 years, but not certain of it. There are hardwood floors throughout (except wet areas), bead board ceilings and walls, and a ton of character!

Where you’ll be

Thibodaux, Louisiana, United States

Across the street is one of the oldest churches this side of the Mississippi, dating back 175 years or so. Also within walking distance is the Jean Lafitte National Historical Park and there are many plantations, swamp tours, historical walking tours, and other fun things within an hour of us.

During your stay

My husband and I are both from here, born and raised. He fancies himself a local historian and is always willing to regale anyone with stories; however, we are here for your convenience and to accommodate any way we can, so if minimal interaction is your preference, that's perfectly ok.

We cook mostly on weekends. While NOT a bed and breakfast, we welcome anyone that'd like to join us for meals!
