Good to know:
The dry season in Myanmar runs from October to May, and the wet season from June until early October. Myanmar’s high season is November to February when accommodation can be very limited.

The water festival in April is another busy time at the beach when accommodation is limited.

ATM's - There are 4 atms at the beach; two at the KBZ bank by the pagoda on the hill as you enter (the bank closes at the 3pm but the atms remain open), one infront of Eskala hotel and one in Yamonnar Oo hotel.

Power - There is no grid power so only the large hotels have 24/7 power from generators, the small ones tend to just provide power at night.

Wi-Fi - Fibre optic is coming! Fibre optic cables have been laid in from the Indian Ocean to Ngwe Saung Beach (this will service the whole of Myanmar) latest news is the connection plan will start on December 12th 2017.
