The space

Podere Grignano is a typical Tuscan medieval farm, beautifully and strategically situated in the heart of Tuscany between the famous medieval cities of San Gimignano and Volterra. The farm's principal crops are olive trees and a vineyard with own production and direct selling.
The panoramic view is amazing over the Tuscan hills.

Only a few cars a day pass the land road over the property, which makes it great for people that love tranquillity and nature. The luxurious holiday homes that are constructed in the old haymow, offer a very comfortable stay. Both bedrooms have airconditioning and there is a washing machine.

Famous cities like Siena, Florence and Pisa are only at 42, 72 and 76 kilometres distance.

The price includes bed linen, towels and cleaning fee, and there are no additional fees!

Great place, great facilities, breathtaking scenery, plenty of space for two or four, brilliant outdoor facilities and furniture if you simply fancy lazing at the site, the whole of Tuscany in touching distance if your that sort of tourist ( like us!). Great value for money

Perfect house in the middle of the Tuscan valleys. The house is perfectly clean, nicely furnished and very well-equiped. Roberta and Stefano are wonderful hosts and they welcomed us with a bottle of wine. I highly recommend this place!

A great country retreat off the beaten track but within short drives of Volterra, San Gimignano, etc. Lovely hosts and a spacious, clean, quiet place with views and walking opportunities right from the door. Highly recommended.

Stefano and Roberta are great hosts. Their place is ideal for families. A house which was once a hayloft is now a perfect turistic house for those, who want peace in pure nature. I am glad we stayed there.

We had a wonderful 6 nights stay. The hosts Stephano and Robert were brilliant. We reached very late and didn't want to trek out to have dinner. They happily provided us with generous basics to cook with and eat. We were welcomed with olive oil and wine from their farm and vineyard. The house is beautiful. Little touches like the sensory-light near the flight of stairs was extremely well thought out. The linen was squeaky clean. So was the house. The garden is pretty. We found the playground extremely useful for our daughter. We did not have problems finding it. There is a dirt-road worth 8-10 mins drive so would recommend bigger cars. It is very close to major Tuscan towns. And the drives are beautiful. We even drove out to the coast in Golfo De Barrati for a day out. Finally Maiya, the dog, is adorable. We loved it there and will highly recommend it.

Hello all, I live and was raised in The Netherlands, which is a beautiful country. But in my modest opinion nothing beats Italy as a holiday itinerary. The beautiful landscapes, medieval cities and towns and not to mention the art are just magnificent in Italy. I would highly …
