The space
No lodging has everything that anyone might need, but this property sure comes close! 

Consider the home’s location. The heart of the beautiful Earle Historic District. Most of the historic homes here have been beautifully restored and renovated. Here you can enjoy walks down picturesque streets lined with 100 year-old oak trees. Meander through the various local parks. Stroll to an eclectic mix of restaurants, coffee shops and bars nearby. Or, if the mood hits you, you can jump on the free trolley just two blocks away (it runs Thursday through Sunday). The famous Swamp Rabbit Trail is less than half a mile away, as is Noma Square, Greenville’s largest downtown plaza. (Don’t worry about trying to keep all this in your head. We’ll have a map for you when you arrive.)

And speaking of arriving…

Consider this home’s amenities. This duplex (you’ll be occupying the “right side” of it) is utterly chic. Honestly, if all you did was throw some clothes in a suitcase, you’d be fine, because this property has everything, plus the kitchen sink!

High-speed Internet access. A 48” Smart TV with cable. A fully stocked kitchen (with a traditional coffee pot and a French press). Two deluxe queen beds with down pillows, comforters and Hotel Collection sheets. 

That’s not all! These extra luxury touches like Cuisinart pots and pans, Williams and Sonoma dishware, and a Ninja blender to make you feel like a pampered chef for your entire stay. From the linens to the decor, our goal is to spoil you in this clean, uncluttered, refreshing space.

What about pets? 
Pets are NOT permitted on the 202 side of this Duplex per Owner request. Sorry. 

Do you allow long-term or frequent stays?
Long-term stays are welcome! Please send a message and let’s talk about schedules and dates. We reward repeat travelers by offering discounts on repeated stays. For stays over 14 days, because you will be in the property longer, we do require a refundable security deposit for your stay.  Deposit information is below:

What are your cleaning practices (and fees) in the time of COVID-19? 
Some guests have asked why our cleaning fees seem a bit higher than certain other rental companies? It’s a fair question, and here’s our honest answer: When it comes to guest safety, we will never cut corners. Some hotel cleaning staffs spend 20 minutes (at most) tidying up a room. Other rental companies charge less—and do a whole lot less cleaning! Not us. We will always go the extra mile to keep you safe—especially in this era of COVID-19. In some cases, it takes our staff eight hours to properly clean and disinfect a 1-bedroom house, and to commercially clean all towels and linens.

Bottom line? We only charge for the cleaning that is necessary to insure your safety and comfort. 

When we clean a property, our staff members wear gloves and masks. We follow professional hospitality standards by (a) using industrial strength cleaners and (b) commercially washing linens in water temperatures of 160+ degrees to kill any virus/bacteria. We sanitize all surfaces with Lysol disinfectants and bleach-based cleaning liquids. We are not offering natural cleaning options at this time. Again, it’s because of these additional cleaning precautions that we have been forced to raise our cleaning and linen charges. 

For all bookings, properties are inspected 24 hours before arrival. Please note that due to COVID cleaning requirements, if you are checking in on the same day that another guests is checking out, we are only able to allow Early check-ins if we are able to coordinate well in advance. An Early Check-In Fee for such situations will be quoted ahead of time due to the extra cleaning requirements. 

Do you host families with young children? 
All the time! We especially love making traveling with little ones easier for you. If it will reduce your vacation stress, we can, upon request, provide a Pack-and-Play at no charge. For a small fee, we can also provide a high chair and age-appropriate toys and games for your child. Want to leave all your bulky “baby paraphernalia” at home? Just let us know your child’s age/gender so we can get you set up. Request those items when reserving the property, and we’ll be sure to have them on site when you arrive!

What if I am a business traveler who comes to Greenville often? 
We love repeat travelers and we offer seasonal discounts to repeat travelers only. Make sure we have your email and you will get notifications throughout the year tailored to YOU!

What about Early Check-In and Late Check-Out? 
We understand you wanting to maximize your time in Greenville, so we offer an Early Check-in option and Late Check-out option (for those who reserve far enough in advance). NOTE: There is a small fee (445 each) for this service (since we have to bring in extra staff to make this possible for you). 
Check-in: 4:00 PM. Early check-in: 1 PM (Fee Based)
Check-out: 10:00 AM. Late check-out: Noon (Fee Based)

All additional requests must be made ahead of time.  If you put in your request ahead of time, we will make it happen for you!

What are our StayGVL’s Office Hours? 
As a professional property management company, our office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Closed Saturday and Sunday.  We are easily reached through email or text as well.    In the case of guest emergencies, we’re available to you 24/7.

What do I need to do after booking? 
All guests are required to sign (electronically) a Vacation Rental Agreement with our company after booking. That signed agreement is required whether you book directly with us or through an online travel agency like Airbnb, VRBO, etc. 

As a guest, you have the flexibility of a coded from lock to check in when it's convenient for you—even after the check-in times. Or, if you desire, we can come by to meet and greet you; however,  we want to respect your privacy and also adhere to COVID-19 protocols.

In short, we will not come to the property during your stay unless you want us to, or it is necessary for us to address an issue.

Why do I have to sign a Vacation Rental Agreement? I’ve never had to sign that before...
This is am insurance policy requirement since we are a professional property management company who manages vacation rentals. The purpose of the Vacation Rental Agreement is to create a legal contract in order to protect guests and owners. Since many Vacation Rental standards vary from host to host, this document helps us to clarify our expectations. All our confirmed guests are required to sign (electronically) this document in order to receive the check in instructions. That signed agreement is required whether you book directly with us or through an online travel agency like Airbnb, VRBO, etc.  The good news is that it doesn’t cost you anything and it takes less than 10 seconds to sign. Easy peasy!

There are 100 year old oak trees which shade the streets. There are many parks nearby within walking distance. The swamp rabbit trail access is less than 1/2 mile away. There is an eclectic mix of restaurants, coffee shops, and bars within walking distance.

StayGVL is owned by Matt and Conoly Sullivan (GVL natives). They returned to Greenville in 2016 after both completing Active-Duty Service in the US Army. Matt was an Armor Officer; Conoly was an ICU/ER Nurse Corps Officer.
