Maramba Tea Factory is our neighbor - they offer tours. Also in the neighborhood on offer is horse riding. You cant take walks in the tea fields. Next bigger village is Karuri with Banana Hill Art Gallery. Brackenhurst is a 10 min drive and our next good restaurant. Kiambethu Tea Farm also about 10 min drive

I am a sales and marketing consultant working in a Nairobi based tour company. I also have a degree in organic farming and enjoy living in the countryside together with my Kenyan husband. I truly enjoy walking around the garden and tea fields exploring nature, flowers, dudus, birds and what not. I love a simple do it yourself lifestyle, like to do things myself from construction, to clothing or decoration.
