Herrick Rd. is a beautiful 1900 farmhouse with a very simple, back to basic style. The house looks over Walker Pond (across the street) and echoes wonderful songs of the loon in the mornings. The house has all the basics you will need, and a fully equipped kitchen , including Lobster pots for the stove or outdoor fire pit. There is s gas grill as well. The kitchen stove is an old 3 burner gas unit. It is very basic and very simple to use. There is also a microwave and coffee makers.

The house was clean and spacious. The stove is old but we were able to cook on the burners and in the oven and it was interesting to see such an antique. We enjoyed our stay.

A simply lovely home, with everything you need to feel at home. The extra benefit of not being to in touch with electronics was an extra plus as well. It is a home that allows the flow of conversation to flourish.
