Formerly the cow barn for the Grade II listed 17th century High Greenrigg House, Brae Fell has been converted to create a quality open plan cottage complete with the original wooden byre stalls separating the fully equipped kitchen/dining space from the living area. There are three en-suite bedrooms, a king size four poster bed and king (on ground floor) and twin beds. The cottage is fully centrally heated. There is also a gas fire in the living area. together with TV, DVD player and audio.

No smoking
No parties or events
Not safe or suitable for children (0-12 years) - Older children (> 8) may be fine but there are several hard and uneven surfaces. Also there are many risky items (stone jars, fire irons etc).

A perfect place to stay to enjoy the Northern Lakes. The cottage was warm and cosy and had everything you could need. A real traditional Cumbrian cottage which was super clean. The hosts extra touches really made the trip. Will definitely be returning.
