Stay near the Terlingua Ghost Town with a stunning view of the Chisos Mountains. Privacy. Newly constructed one bedroom casita, king bed, fire pit, outdoor seating, super cool bathroom with rain shower head, and bonus outdoor shower.

The space

Casa Juni, our smallest adobe stucco design at Nuevo Terlingua is the most quaint addition. We like the touch of northern Mexico old gate and door to capture the authentic heritage with new construction. Located in the area near our famous Big Bend Parks and Ghost Town. Enjoy sunrises and sunsets overlooking mountains in the heart of nature.

This was the cutest little airbnb in Terlingua! We waited until the last minute to find a place to stay during Day of the Dead and it was a little more expensive than we planned but after checking in I wished we had booked an additional night. So nice and cute! The outdoor shower is cool and the bed is awesome. Loved the firepit too. It's not mentioned in the listing but there's a microwave, mini fridge and keurig for use. That was handy. Location was close to the ghost town and just off the main road but felt private still. Can't wait to come back!

I can't wait to come back and stay at Casa Juni. Just a 5 minute drive from Terlingua and 15 minutes to the park entrance, it was the perfect go-between. The stargazing at this place is amazing, and the outdoor shower that is connected to the bathroom was quite the treat. You can't really beat showering under the stars. The linens and the bed itself were so comfortable, and opening the doors in the morning to see the sunrise over the Chisos was stunning. There is one neighboring casita with the shared drive, but with the courtyard wall and doors screening off the drive, we felt totally alone (save for the few cars driving by). Sitting in the chairs around the firepit and drinking wine under the stars and meteor shower was unforgettable. The place is equipped with soft towels, hair dryer, and soaps, body wash, shampoo and conditioner. The mini-fridge and the Keurig coffee/tea were convenient, and they also provided plates, dishes, silverware, mugs and glasses (set for 2 people), which was a pleasant surprise even though we ate in town both nights. The place is stocked with firewood in the back. The furnishings are perfect and stylish... I really didn't want to leave and can't wait to go back!

I have been visiting the Big Bend area since the late 80s - and a few years ago decided to move to this magical place (something nice about no street lights). In addition to our the casitas at Nuevo Terlingua, I also own Basecamp Terlingua and Terlingua Rentals - which offer a range of casitas and luxury tipis. When I'm not in Terlingua, I spend time in Africa where my non-profit studies the co-evolution of humans and their microbes. Peace out.
