Plum Cottage Watercolors is a beautiful home just a 5 minute bike ride to the seawall in a quiet, historic neighborhood with many long time residents. You will be very close to pleasure pier and the strand.

The best part of the home is all the windows! When you enter the cottage, you'll immediately feel at home and relaxed.

This home offers a special U-shaped room for kids, one side for girls and the other side for boys. There are fun tents you can take to the beach too!

The space

What makes Plum Cottage Watercolors special is my neighborhood, the special touches throughout the home, including a mini mac computer available for your use during your stay and a special U shaped room for kids. There is a very large and inviting backyard that's completely fenced for our four legged guests.

The patio at the back of the property is quiet, comfortable and private with a charcoal grill. You can enjoy it at night with the pretty lights strung across the patio.

Guest access

You will have access to the entire property.

Interaction with guests

I love hosting and will be checking in with you via message when you arrive, but otherwise I will leave you alone to explore the island. I am always available 24/7 during your stay in case you have any questions or concerns.

Wonderful host. House was so cute and clean. Great location to everything. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a house to stay in Galveston.

It was my first try with Airbnb and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage is very nice arranged with love, there is all you need and you get the right beach feeling :-) - and there plenty of space, even with children. There is a nice patio with lounge seating, desk, a hammock and a barbecue. The beach is about 5 mins by bicycle, which is provided optional along with beach chairs and a sunshade. The contact was very nice and the response fast. Missing things were delivered immediately. If we come back to Galveston, we definitely will stay there again.

I decided to become an airbnb host after I started traveling around the world as a female solo traveler. I fell in love with the concept of airbnb and how it's completely changed travel. My airbnb hosts around the world were amazing! I built beautiful relationships and had experiences I never would have had if I'd stayed in a hotel. I want to host travelers to my beautiful beach town, Galveston. I want to share with them what I love about this town and give them an incredible experience beyond a place to stay.

I am a general manager of a restaurant in Houston and I live in a warehouse loft downtown with my two boys. My oldest child attends Duke University. I have a dog and a cat. I'm also an avid cyclist and Longboarder. I'm offering beach cruisers to guests because I think it's the best way to explore the island.
