The place was very well located. Easy check in and out. Indy was such a friendly cat. Always at the door when we got home to say hello.

Whitney's place is very charming, and Indy (Whitney's cat) is adorable and friendly. Whitney's detailed instructions made check-in very easy, and the location (close to Prospect Park) is great in that it is close to two stations (2&3, D&Q), 24hr Duane Reade, laundromats, grocerie…

Beautiful neighborhood close to many gems and the metro is less than a block away. The place is a lower level brownstone with lots of history but isn't as clean as I had hoped for. Place has a funky smell and I must admit the cat is somewhat annoying. Her liter box and food makes…

Response from Whitney:
Sorry to hear that this was your experience! * I hire a professional cleaning service before every guest, hence the cleaning fee. I also try to make it clear in the listing that this is an original 1880s brownstone -- it's not a newly renovated space. There's nothing I can do about that. It's clear in the listing. * Coffee and a French press are very visible so I'm not sure why this was an issue. I also bought regular milk and OJ especially for this party. (I only use non-dairy, but understand that not everyone does.) * It is VERY clear that there's a cat in the space. The cat is the reason why I don't use Instant Book -- so I can email guests before they book to ensure that guests are okay with her. If someone is not okay with a cat -- and Indy has been very favorably reviewed by other guests! -- then it doesn't make sense to book an apartment that has one. :) * The keys are almost too obvious -- I have never had trouble with guests finding them.

My wife and I were visiting Brooklyn for an art exhibit and to see some friends. Whitney's apartment was a wonderful place to stay--comfortable, great value, and fantastic location in Park Slope! We hope to stay there again, next time we're in town.

Couldn't possibly recommend any more! Great communication, perfectly located in a great neighborhood, with quick access to subway stops, restaurants, etc. We loved everything about it, including indy!!!
