Our flat is extremely central - a very short walk to Waterloo Station, the London Eye, and Big Ben! We have outfit the flat to make it as comfortable and convenient for travellers as possible. There are two bedrooms, a comfortable living room with large TV, and a fully functional kitchen. We’ve added our own touches like ensuring you have access to Netflix and travel adapters for your devices. Our home would be a great fit for a group of friends or two couples looking to explore London!

The space

The flat is on the fourth floor of a block of flats and please note there is no lift. After the stairs though you will be treated to a little oasis of calm that we have created to suit any and all of your needs as a traveler!

There are two double bedrooms, with a double and a king bed. You will be provided with hotel-quality linens and comfortable duvets and pillows. There is also a sofa bed in the living room which we provide additional duvets and pillows for. There is plenty of wardrobe space to hang and store all of your things, and a quality iron and hairdryer. We also will provide travel adaptors in case you need to plug in your devices and forgot the correct adaptor.

The bathroom is separate from the WC and has a full bath with showerhead over it. You will be provided with large fluffy white towels and toiletries.

The kitchen has any basic appliances you would need to cook a meal, including pots and pans, a coffee machine, kettle, and dishwasher.

The living room has a dining table that seats four, a sofa bed, and a large TV that has a large variety of cable channels. You are also more than welcome to use our Netflix account for the TV!

Guest access

Guests have complete access to the apartment. Additionally I’ve arranged for a concierge service to be available to you throughout your stay, providing you with free on-demand support for booking restaurants, tickets to shows, transport...or anything else you might fancy! You can also book additional housekeeping services like regular cleans or changes of bed linen. I hope that this will help you get even more out of your stay. Full details will be provided at check-in.

Great location. If you want a stylish, clean, quiet, and centrally located apartment, this is your place. Super comfortable beds, linens, and everything else you could possibly need. Bright, sunny, with a glimpse out the windows at the London eye. Close to transport, shops, river, restaurants. Great value!

We are very pleased to report that we had a great stay at Maria's place. There are 2 kinds of surprises, this was the good kind. We literally rolled our suitcases right from Waterloo station to our building's door. When we travel we prefer nicer hotels, as that's part of the fun of traveling. For 3 of us, it was our first time in London and we all agreed we couldn't have picked a better location. We were out all times of the day & wee hours, and felt safe in the neighborhood. From the outside you'll see this a proper older building, but the interior has been renovated. Modern kitchen, separate toilet (a plus) modern bathroom, even towel warmers and big fluffy towels for all. It's quaint, but it worked well for us. We were traveling as a couple and two guys would no sooner sleep in the same bed... So we had 2 in the master, one in bedroom 2 and one in the front on a sofa bed that he said was “bona fide comfortable”. New windows easily open to offer a nice breeze and there are independent heaters in all areas, but we didn't need to use. WiFi was better than most hotels and I was able to get a video stream to play on my iPad. We had about 6 devices connected and everyone was able to do what they need to. They also have an nice flat screen TV, not that we had time to watch much of it. This was a first time AirBnB hire for us as well, and not sure why we waited so long to join. Maria's people were very attentive to details, especially before we arrived. While we had no need to call them for anything, they made it clear they were available to us 24/7 during our stay. The whole process was as seamless as any nice hotel, and on this visit we wanted to experience London from the perspective of a Londoner. I must say I was surprised being so close it all, how quiet it was at night. No hooligans shouting their battle songs till dawn, no traffic sound. Even quieter than my own house. Only two things to advise for folks with any limited mobility, The bathroom tub is elevated so plan to climb 'up' into the tub. Will recommend they consider a step stool and additional hand rail for folks that want some extra stability when getting in/out. That said, it was no trouble for us middle aged farts. Lastly, save a little energy from your walk to climb five flights of stairs to get to the flat. Unit on 4th but in five flights. As she clearly states, there is no lift or elevator. But when you get to the top, you'll be rewarded with good sleep. Again no problem for us, and I think we all might have shed a couple lbs from all the walking. Bonus! London is the most fabulous...

The place was centrally located just behind Waterloo station. There were a couple of small supermarkets nearby to pick up the essentials and a range of cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. The flat 8s in the top floor so don't book if you don't like stairs. That didn't bothera7s and we found a the place to be perfect for our 4 days in London.

This home away from home exceeded our expectations. This was our first experience with Airbnb and it definitely won't be the last. Everything was so easy and the process so transparent. We would definitely be staying here on our next visit to London. The area was so quiet and there was a kids playground around the corner. Conveniently located within 2 minute walk to Lambeth North tube station. We absolutely loved this place and we're so appreciative how accommodating the host was.
