If reconnecting with nature is your desire, come pitch a tent on this secluded, private, conveniently located 75 acre farm in the Gainesboro , TN area. The woods are alive with Tennessee wildlife and natural beauty. Beautiful falls and the cleanest lakes in the Country near by. A commons area with bathrooms, showers and kitchen are provided for tent campers. Baked goods will be available from The Remember When Bakery in the commons area. An inexpensive way to explore the beauty of the area.
My farm has been in our family for 6 generations. It is currently not a working farm ; however, the site specific conditions still exist that enabled my Great, Great, Grandfather Spencer Walker to establish his settlement log cabin. This small family farm at one point in the early 1900's was the sole providing support for 12 family members.
If you are tired of huge volume, crowded, foot print sized assigned camping, then come and pitch your personal tent anywhere you desire on my farm. If you prefer the bottom land or field ; behind the yellow farmhouse ; by the lower spring or in the wooded lands. It is up to you! Tent camping only as we are not set up for RV camping. Two people per tent site. Eight dollars per person after two for larger groups.

Cummins Falls and Dale Hollow Lake and Pontoon boating are fun activities enjoyed by many visitors to the Upper Cumberland Area.

-No cutting of live trees small or large.
-Due to Ash Bore do not bring in firewood, fire wood available.
-When choosing campsite try not to camp in front yards of houses.

Thank you, Rick.
A traveled fellow. A nice fellow. Husband and father. I have worked in the Oil and Gas exploration industry and am a Registered Nurse. These occupations have allowed me to travel and live in many different places, Texas, Oklahoma, Saudi Arabia, Indiana, Kentucky, San Diego, California; Los Angeles, California; Grants Pass, Oregon; Wallingford, Connecticut. When I worked at night in Saudi Arabia I would look up at the stars and wonder what was happening at the farm in Tennessee and dreamed of living there one day. Well I live here in Gainesboro, Tennessee on my Great , Great, Grandfathers settlement farm and love it. I think you will enjoy your stay here as well.
