Tranquil place in off season near Easter. There was a heater in the room to use a few minutes in the evening but the room was warm and cozy all night. The bed was comfortable. Many birds, insects, and roosters can be heard for a symphony experience around daybreak. That was a ple…

The area was very beautiful! Bikes to borrow (make sure you test them in the driveway first since a few of them are older and have some issues) was super helpful for getting back and forth from the bus stop and public transportation to Venice was very easy (about 40 minutes). A l…

As described. Definitely a ways out there, but beautiful. If you can walk/bike, public transit into Venice is really easy and cheap. Simple accommodations, lots of animals, kitchen for community use.

Had a wonderful time and met a lot of interesting travelers. Nice communal atmosphere. Great to be able to use bikes to get to and from places.

You need at least one hour to get to venice from this place. Lots of nasty mosquitos. The toilets are in the showers and a few bugs were occasionally crawling around in there. Using the bikes was nice to go to the village, but dangerous because of how broken down they were.
