Cozy bungalow minutes from downtown Minneapolis. Located .75 miles from the light rail (with access to the airport, Mall of America, US Bank Stadium, HealthPartners, HCMC, downtown Minneapolis, and the Univ. of MN). A mile away from walking/bike paths along the scenic Mississippi River, and several great restaurant options within walking distance.

The space

This is a private one bedroom and private one bathroom rental on the main floor of the house, with use of a shared living space (including TV with Netflix) and kitchen. The bedroom has a queen bed, desk, bookcase and closet. There is a bathtub/shower in the bathroom. The owners sleep upstairs. The space is comfortable, full of plants, and home for two personable cats.

Guest access

Guests are free to use the kitchen, TV, wifi, and laundry as needed. Outdoor seating in the backyard. There is on-street parking available in front of the house.

Interaction with guests

We are happy to provide suggestions for things to do in the city. I am gone during weekday work hours, but Scott works from home on a flexible schedule so may be around.

Other things to note

Fresh towels are provided, and the bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

Annie and Scott were so welcoming. They invited me to share breakfast and talk about my daily activities. They were kind enough to suggest great happy hour locations. I would definitely stay with them again!

My girlfriend and I had the opportunity to stay with Annie and Scott for the evening and they both welcomed us in. My girlfriend was quick to fall in love with both Pepper the cat and also the look of their home. All around amazing experience and we will be back in the future!

Staying at Annie’s place was my first Airbnb experience, and I must admit it was much better then I expected. Neighborhood is really quiet, room was really clean and bed was very comfortable. Definitely recommend this place :)

Great location, had easy access to transit to get to a Vikings game. Great hosts and even let us make breakfast at their house!

This by far has been one of my favorite AirBNB trips...and I used it on three continents to date! This is an excellent place to stay because the hosts made us feel so welcomed. You have your own bedroom and private bathroom downstairs (the only stairs you need to climb are to get into the house). You also have your own entrance to the house. Scott and Annie are two really nice, down to earth, and comfortable hosts. I don't think I have ever felt so comfortable just lounging on someone's couch. Scott had a great suggestion of the Sonora Grill happy hour. We also found the Vines Art Center and the Pillsbury Art Center. They also have a cat named Pepper that is one of my favorite cats I have ever met. The bed was large and comfortable (my boyfriend is tall and we had no complaints), plenty of blankets and towels provided. The TV is in the living room not your bedroom. Eggs and toast were provided to make your own breakfast. We would happily stay again. We were able to walk to the light rail. Great place to stay if you like staying in a real local's home.
