Located 3 mi. w. of the small town of Frederic, Mi, & situated on 20 acres of land, this log cabin provides a peaceful respite from the hectic pace of urban life. The property is bounded on 3 sides by the Au Sable State Forest. Situated in a relatively remote portion of the lower peninsula, guests are virtually assured a tranquil stay. Whether you seek a romantic get away with someone special, or a lively get together with friends or family, this place offers something for just about everyone.

The space
This 1100 square foot log cabin sits atop the spine of the lower peninsula between two river valleys. About 2 miles west lies the Manistee River flowing westward to Lake Michigan. Roughly 1.5 miles east is the Au Sable River which flows to Lake Huron. It's located on the highest ground in the area, and just a bit south of the 45th parallel, halfway between the equator and the north pole.
