This dutch romantic sailing boat from the seventies is located in a lovely harbour. You will wake up in the middle of nature and you are 15 minutes away (by bike) from central station. You can use the facilities (toilet and shower) of the harbour. This location is perfect if you love the city life and the stillness of the country side. You are very well connected to the Amsterdam Central Station and the country side(Volendam Marken. There is no heating but their are a lot of blankets :-)

De Ceuvel:
Nice hippie bar where you can swim when is is hot.

Lovely little boat in a secluded peaceful marina. The 32 bus is nearby and takes you to the centre in 15 minutes.

The boat was exactly like it was described, a very cozy litte place. We enjoyed staying there these few days! Only the sanitary rooms weren't always perfectly cleaned, but that was okay, because Esther told us before that it's a little bit like camping.

Esther is very communicative and responds right away. However, I would have liked to have met her in person when I arrived. I came at night when it was raining and I was unable to get the door opened for half an hour. I have never stayed at a boat before so I could not see how the opening works. The boat is very small. The running water is not for drinking--you have to go to the harbour bathroom to get tap water. The laundry system is confusing and the people working there were extremely rude; I was asked to pay 10 euros for two tokens, which I refused. It was damp in the mornings and very cold. I hate not to write a positive review but, honestly, my experience was not pleasant at all.

Gorgeous, cosy boat with great views. Easy to walk to the bus stop to get into the centre of Amsterdam. Esther was a very helpful, lovely host! Great that she supplied us with a power bank to charge our phones with!

A great boat to stay on - comfortable bed, in a quiet and charming location, and with lots of small touches to make your stay pleasant in what is inevitably a fairly confined space. Easy to get to from the city centre via the free ferry (I recommend also hiring a bike), but far enough away to be tranquil and undisturbed.
