We saw this property several years ago when it was abandoned and it was so sad! Neglected for many years and in complete disrepair I was sure it would probably be torn down. It is absolutely amazing what it looks like now! I'm in love with the house and what Mary and Kevin have done to it! Our room was clean, comfortable and charming! Modern conveniences without losing the historic feel of this 100 year old house! Wonderful breakfast and great company! Thank you Mary and Kevin!

This place will be a wonderful overnight stay after its renovation is done. Guests should bear in mind that this place is under major renovation. The entrance and lobby were in poor shape. The room was nice: very comfortable king size bed. Breakfast was included and was good too. The front yard is really charming. Mary, the host, is wonderful!

Mary was very welcoming and easy to communicate with. The inn is lovely, and while it is being updated, is perfectly workable as an inn. My room was clean, and had all the amenities I would expect, shower was better than some modern hotels I have stayed at. Breakfast was lovely, had special home made dishes and all the usual stuff. It was lovely to be greeted by Sadie the dog- she is so sweet. All in all the inn had a very friendly atmosphere with attention to detail and customer service. I am glad I went there for this trip, and can't wait to visit again!

As advertised, the property is undergoing renovation, but it does not detract from the room, the food, the value, or the thoughtfulness of the hosts. I would definetly stay again if in the area.

I can't say enough good things about this Airbnb or the host, Mary. The property itself is beautiful and nestled far away from outside noise. Our room was perfect, clean, very homey feeling with a modern edge. Love all of the "little" things our host thought of. Our bed was extremely comfortable the whole night through. Mary was so friendly, kind, and helpful to us and the choices for breakfast were really healthy and delicious. Would definitely revisit!

Mary User ProfileMary is a superhost.

It has been a lifelong dream to have a B&B/Inn. We hadn't planned quite this big of a project, but we are sooo happy to be bringing this iconic Inn back to life! In my down time (not that there is much of that these days) I like to spend with my rescue ponies, who I will be eventually driving and competing in Combined Driving competions. Other than that I love to read, hike, garden, bake......... and meet new people!
