The space
Beitostølen is the complete and urban mountain destination. All seasons are exciting and beautiful, and activities are lined up for both small and large people. What makes Beitostølen so special is the proximity to the mountain and the intimate atmosphere. Here are alpine hills, restaurants, pubs, shops and other sights all in one place, all within walking distance.

Beitostølen is the gateway to Jotunheimen, which is home to as many as 255 of Norway's 300 mountain peaks over 2,000 metres. Galdhøpiggen (2469 m), Besseggen (1743 m) and Rasletind (2105 m) are the most popular. Bitihorn (1607 m) is also a popular peak for the whole family, starting just a few minutes drive from Beitostølen. One of the last growths in the area is Via Ferrata. Interest in this has exploded among tourists, and just 12km from Beitostølen lies Via Ferrata Synshorn, which offers spectacular experiences and views of Jotunheimen.

The boat trip from Bygdin to Eidsbugarden is an exotic journey and is one of northern Europe's highest boat routes. For more than 100 years, M/S Bitihorn has been on a fixed route between Bygdin and Eidsbugarden on the lake Bygdin (1060 m above sea level). Another option is Gjende III and Gjendine, which will take you into the wildest Jotunheimen with adventurous surroundings and fantastic tour options, including the popular Besseggen. Departures from Gjendesheim to Memurubu and Gjendebu.

Beito Active and Ski School organises activities such as mountain tours, rafting, archery, mountain climbing, game hunting and much more. In the activity park it is set for speed and fun. Here you can ride sledgehammer in the bobbins, olabil in lane or jump for joy on the gyrotrampolin. Dog sledding, sledding and horse riding in beautiful mountain scenery, this is a great experience for the whole family. There are many activities offered year-round.

Beitostølen Skistadium is Northern Europe's most complete cross-country skiing and biathlon arena, it is here, among other things World-Cup and annual seasonal openings for cross-country skiing are arranged, and the stadium is approved for all biathlon distances by IBU. Beitostølen and Øystre Slidre have miles of fantastic skiing trails that connect with the cloth that runs all the way to Aurdalsåsen. The different runs are marked with colors, some rounds are more demanding and others are suitable for the very fresh and smallest.
You don't have to ski in the alpine slope to get speed and excitement, how about tobogganing, airboard or snowboarding? In addition, both children and adults can ride snowmobiles on the field.

SPA and wellness can be found on the ground floor of Radisson Blu. There is also a large swimming pool here as well as a smaller one for the children.
There is also a well-equipped gym here.

Indoors and gatherings around the dining table-whether in the cabin or in the restaurant-is as important as outdoor activities. Beitostølen boasts a rich selection of restaurants, pubs, and groceries, even its own oyster with top-class cheese.

Trollrock, Vårspretten, Beitosprinten, Fjellmaraton, Vinjerock, Trubadurfestivalen and Fjelljazz are just some of the fasting that happens in Valdres in addition to other concerts, shows and events on weekends all year round.

Welcome to Beitostølen and Valdres!
