A very bright, calm and peaceful apartment in the heart of London. Clerkenwell is at once old and new. Ideally located between Shoreditch, Soho and the City of London. All within walking distance, as is the river, St Paul's and many, many local restaurants and bars.

The space

A really lovely apartment in the perfect location. Walking distance to Shoreditch and the City. Very sunny and super peaceful. Overlooking the tennis courts and swimming pool.

Whole apartment.

A very rare opportunity to stay in an architectural gem in this wonderful part of London.

A just renovated grade 2* listed apartment in an historic, modernist building.

Beautifully furnished. Ideally located for holidays and for business. The City, Shoreditch, Soho, Covent Garden and Islington are all within walking distance. Transport links are excellent if you are feeling lazy or there are many bike hire points near the front door if you so wish.

The area of Clerkenwell is an old but exciting part of town. The architecture shows it many ages. The oldest church in London and the oldest hospital in Britain sits alongside the modernist and brutalist icons of Golden Lane and the Barbican. Charterhouse (a 12th century Priory, newly opened to the public) is next to the central station of Crossrail (Europe's largest engineering project). A super modern underground network of trains that will connect east to west.

Clerkenwell has a vibrant food scene. The range of places to visit is enormous. From super-hip modern Mexicans through to Michelin starred French and everything in between. Places of note are Anglo, Sosharu, Breddos, Modern Pantry, Club Gascon, Sushi Tetsu, Hix, Lyles, Otto's and the Clove Club. These are just a few. There are also many bars and pubs and in Fabric a world class nightclub.

The art scene is well looking after by The Barbican Centre and Sadler's Wells. There is also Victoria Miro and Parasol around the corner.

I love this part of London. Walking to The Tate via St. Pauls. Along the river to Tower Bridge via the City. It is full of shops and surprises and never fails to excite me, even after 25 years.

A really nice place to stay, just near to the subway (easy access to any part of London). The apartment is well furnished. Debbie is very kind and came to pick us up at the metro station. She also adviced us for some good restaurants and museums around the apartment.

Great location, great host who took the time to show me the neighbourhood, clean flat as advertised. I was in London for business and this is a great location, near the tube and bus lanes. Wifi works great too.

Had a very pleasant stay at Debbie and Dan's apartment! Quiet and modern. Central location, walking distance to great restaurants, Barbican art center, St Paul's, Museum of Modern Art, and much more. Dan and Debbie were amazing hosts and very accommodating! I'll try to book the apartment again on my next visit.

The place is great, in a nice building, and really near lots of stuff as well as a Tube stop. Dan was super helpful at check-in, had lots of advice and maps and other things for me. Would definitely recommend their place as a jumping off point to explore London!
