We enjoyed our stay. We were there for work but are looking forward to returning when we can more fully enjoy the beach. :)

Very accommodating hostess, easy to communicate with, and a very nice space close to the beach/waterfront area. Highly recommend!

Priscilla and her family were the perfect hosts! This was my first Airbnb experience and I don't think there is any way it could be beat! Her house is very close to a private beach where you can watch an amazing sunrise and bald eagles soaring and even catching fish in the bay - happened right in front of me one afternoon! The house has screens on the door and windows so you can enjoy a great breeze right off the bay. Adorable decor and super soft bed! The neighborhood is quiet with very little traffic. She had the place stocked with a variety of drinks and information on the area. When we told her there were 3 of us and we were excited to be able to use her 2 kayaks, her friend allowed us to use their 3rd kayak all week as well! We didn't get a chance to use them because there were two tropical storms lingering in the area with choppy water and high winds, but what a super kind gesture. That is just the beginning with Priscilla. I feel like I've made a great friend too. She even took us fossil hunting one evening and we enjoyed a fire pit gathering with her and her family one night, too. I can't tell you how kind this family is, and their beautiful home paired with their incredible hospitality made our trip super special!

Priscilla is a wonderful person. She opened her home beyond what is described in the listing. I stayed with her, solo, for 3 nights. She welcomed me in, showed me around and let me use her kitchen, patio space, garden and went so far in offering an invitation to a bonfire. The accommodations are accurately described, and I planed my meals and meal prep to only have a microwave and mini fridge, but I was welcomed in using her kitchen as well. The beds are comfortable and everything was very clean. There was soap, shampoo, conditioner, and a couple candles to light at night. Towels, coffee, tea, sweetener, coffee mug and to go beverage containers at your disposal and a few other individual beverages (myriad of sodas and a few canned beers) left in the mini fridge. I didn't bring plateware but was able to use hers, as well as cookware. Most everything I brought I prepped ahead of time to reheat in the microwave. The beach is a literal 1 minute walk past two houses to the end of the street that dead ends on a stairway down to the beach. I walked/sat many hours on that beach and everyone I came into contact with was so friendly, eager to share a quick story about the area, and be on their way; Nothing intrusive from my perspective, and few and far between. Most of the time I had the beach to myself. There is close to a mile of walkable beach with wildlife galore and great "treasure hunting" (seashells, sharks teeth, coral, etc). It's secluded. It's not a beach that has signs directing people to it from the highway. Most people who are on that beach live on it. It's not a place to go meet and party with a bunch of ransoms. Probably could, there are bonfires on the beach at night sometimes. But it's not MTV spring break 2000 whatever out there by any means. Which was perfect.

I rented this place for the whole summer, as a weekend retreat. I just needed some beach and water in my life. It was the best decision! This place is beautiful! It is literally 1/2 block from the beach, which you can see from the room. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful and the neighbors are very nice and welcoming. I had my own parking space which was really convenient. The room itself is really cute and beachy. The decorations were really nice and it was fun to add to the beach coral vase all summer long. There is a microwave, a small refrigerator, and a Keurig coffee maker so that I could have my coffee on the beach every morning. The beds (there are 2) are very comfortable and the bathroom was also cute, clean, and beachy. The sliding glass door was wonderful when I wanted to leave it open to get the beach breeze through the screened door. There is a porch swing next to the door which I also have spent many nights on just looking at the bay. There is also a closet in which she has a lounge chair and some beach toys and bags I could use. She even put fresh flowers in my room from time to time. As a host, Priscilla was very sweet, warm, and knowledgeable about the area. We spent a little time together and even went Kayaking with her two kayaks. I can't say enough about this beach. It has a direct bay view and the most amazing sunrises! The beach is clean and the water is shallow. My son and I constantly went hunting for beach glass, sharks teeth, and beach coral almost every weekend we were there. The thing I like the best about the beach was the fact that most of the time we were the only ones there. It felt like my own private beach. Mermaids paradise indeed!
