Great little cottage, location is beautiful with sweeping views of the country. Not too far from Oxford, great quiet cosy place!

Great little find for a relaxed break away from it all, with lots to do in the surrounding area. Lovely homely cottage, with everything you need, and a brilliant host. Highly recommend a stay here, we loved it!

We had a very pleasant time at this marvellous cottage. Very welcoming and quiet. You can count on Sian if you need advices on your trip (and even a slice of delicious cake if you're lucky :p ). The beds are incredibles, like sleeping in a cloud, the kitchen is new and well equipped, everything is ultra clean, ... . En un mot, une trés bonne adresse à recommander pour un séjour sympathique, calme avec un superbe acceuil.

A beautiful cottage which is surrounded in history & character. This house is fitted with modern equipment but still trying to keep to the buildings history. The location is beautiful, quiet and combined with the scenery, this makes this a wonderful location to stay. The hosts are very approachable and will make you feel very welcome during your stay but still giving you the privacy that you want. Family friendly hosts. 'Secret' games room available on site which managed to help our 7 year old enjoy his time even more. Very much a home from home feeling. We loved staying in this location and would recommend this cottage as an ideal place to stay.

This place is like a dream come true. Everything is so perfect, in old style but brand new and clean. We loved our stay and will definietaly come back! Sian is a great host, kind and funny and tipped us about a small village called Brill which J.R.R. Tolkien used as inspiration for Middle Earth in The Hobbit. Thank you Sian, we will be back!

We are a family of three: Sian (me), Andy and Joe (age 21 and at University).

Our travel style is eclectic - we are as happy in our 1979 VW Campervan as we have been when lucky enough to stay in swanky hotels or tents. Andy and I recently married - he popped the question on the Orient Express and we honeymooned in a Yurt. We like to be independent and value small, friendly guesthouses that make flexible, budget touring possible.

Community and social interaction are important to us and, as hosts, we will do our best to make our guests feel they can enjoy the community we live in. We do, however, respect that some people will not want that and will be as discreet as you want us to be.
