- We gladly welcome you to our house - guests from various cultures and backgrounds. We kindly ask, and appreciate, that you and your guests abide by the following rules - they're in line with airbnb community rules. Kick off your shoes and make yourselves at home. Literally, to ensure we keep the floorboards squeaky clean for our guests’ enjoyment, we have a no shoes policy inside the house. Good time to bring your slippers. While we do a thorough professional clean between each guest stay, we kindly ask that prior to leaving, you clean and put away any dishes or kitchenware used and put towels & linens in the basket in the bathroom. It helps us get through our cleaning process quicker and allows us to keep cleaning costs down for you and future guests. We have a no smoking policy - although you are welcome to smoke either out front or back. What you do in your personal time is entirely up to you, but when staying at our place we have a strict no drug use policy. This is just the law… not so much one of our rules. We understand that accidents happen. But we do ask that you please let us know when they do. Chances are we can fix them as effortlessly as possible which also means better chances of having your full security deposit returned too. To keep our costs down, and pass those savings onto our guests, we kindly ask that you switch off lights and the A/C or heating when they are not in use or leaving the house. Mother nature thanks you, too.If in doubt, please reach out to us. Thank You!

Exactly how described! However in kind of a scary neighborhood for a 21 year old girl alone at night so travel with a buddy :)

Helen's place was great. The space is great. Spacious with cable TV, wifi, and some basics in the kitchen if you want to cook. It's about an $8.50 Lyft ride to the inner harbor area. Parking was easy with parking across the street and around the corner. There is also a school about a half block away. We had a great stay and will definitely try to stay again if we're back in Baltimore.
