LOCATION: excellent, in the historical quarter, close to several historical sites and any establishments necessary/useful (supermarket, post office, boucherie, boulangerie, patisserie, book shop, comic book store, pizzeria, Japanese and French restaurants, shoe and clothing shops, etc.).
HOST: friendly, flexible, with detailed, personal local tips and suggestions; fast to respond to any question; provided me with a variety of local guide brochures and maps.
APARTMENT'S CONDITION: good arrangement of space; clean; decorated with good taste; functioning TV and cable; well-equipped kitchen and bathroom (the only thing I couldn't find was a beer opener); quiet surroundings and neighbours. The small yard with plants further contributes to the calming atmosphere and reinforces a sense of privacy and personal space, which I greatly enjoyed. ^^
All in all, a perfect place to stay at, and it helps you enjoy the very atmosphere of Rouen (a town that is likewise beautiful, quiet and calming).
I also recommend the second-hand comic book store just a few minutes walk away ("Librairie Dolce Vita" - they also have novels and figurines, not only comics), I could find some sci-fi stuff there that I couldn't find in the greatest specialised sci-fi store in Paris!
