A cozy house with two bedrooms on a quiet street in Newbury, Ma, just minutes from downtown Newburyport and Plum Island by car or bike. It is a farm-like setting, with backyard chickens bordering a horse farm. Organic/local food is available at Tendercrop Farm, which is only a 5-minute walk and has kid-friendly animal petting areas. Besides nearby Plum Island beaches, there are a lot of hiking trails and great biking areas. I have solar panels on the roof, and am electric car friendly lvl1

Great little house on a quiet street. It was serene, especially waking up to chickens and horses in the back yard! The instructions were easy to understand, check-in was simple and check out was great. Location is nice because it's close to Newburyport, and about 10 minutes from the highway. It's centrally located, in regards to Portland or Boston if you have to go to either city. I would definitely book again if I'm bringing family!

Joseph was so kind and quick to respond about any concerns we had. There were so many thoughtful touches and even fresh eggs from their chickens for breakfast! It was clean and comfortable with beautiful morning sun. We very much enjoyed our stay!

Joseph's extra room was cozy and inviting. I loved the salt lamp and the color of the walls. The house was on a nice street nearby the town of Newburyport. If you are in a car, it is short 7 minute drive to town though it is not walkable. The only challenge for me is that I am a light sleeper. As the room is on the street level, all street noise and any movement or noise in the house is audible in the bedroom. The bathroom is right across the hall which was nice though it could have used a bit more of a clean. Joseph was an easy host. I came in off of a 50 mile day on a bike tour and was exhausted. He was friendly but respected my need to retreat to bed early.
