I am willing to be flexible (meet at my work 15 min away/ask a Airbnb co-host to bring you the key upon request-$5 fee).

Please read the entire listing before submitting a review, this is a place to crash, you will not have a bed, you will have a couch (not a sleeper) and/or air mattress.

Oak Cliff has been named the "Brooklyn of Texas" by Texas Monthly Magazine.

The space

**You will be sleeping on a couch (not a sleeper, a regular couch) or a air mattress, NO BED.
I have lived in this apartment for 5 years. The apartment is 712 square foot 1 bedroom/1 bath open concept w/balcony. No smoking in apartment or on the property (management rules).

Guest access

Pool, gym, clubhouse- (wifi, pool table, tv). Please follow apartment rules. DART streetcar which is FREE! Lyft/Uber is available as well as Uber eats and Favor delivery.

I will need to give you the keys to use the amenities/ get in and out of the property. Please keep up with the keys, and always take the keys with you. The door key is $3 to replace, the key fob is $50. These fees need to be paid before checkout.

Interaction with guests

I will let you have your space. However, if you want to see the city that is okay too! I have lived in the area for 5 years and in the Dallas area for 8 years. I can show you around depending on your interest for extra gas money.

Other things to note

*You will be sleeping on a couch (not a sleeper) or air mattress, your choice. You will not have a bed.

If you need to stay after the 12 pm checkout, let me know. I charge $5/hr upon availability.
Payment can be made through Airbnb or cash.

My apartment is walking distance to 7-11 and Walgreens.
I do have a cat, I will place him in my room in the evening, however my bedroom wall is open (see photos) and so my cat can escape at anytime. The best things to do is to let him roam. He will just stare, do not try to pet him, he is very playful and will leap at your hand. Also please do not play anything that sounds like a bird, baby or another cat. These noises alert my cat.

The streetcar right outside is very convenient. Chastity’s was a great help in finding interesting places to eat and things to do.

Chassity’s place was great! I just needed a quick place to crash. She was very accommodating and her place is super clean. I didn’t get to snuggle with her kitty cat but maybe next time. *high five*

Had a great stay! Everything was clean and as described, the location is great! The cat was really cute. The only thing that was not as described is the kitchen and the utensils, there are no sharp knives and only one pot if you are planning to cook your own meals. Chassity was really helpful and has a folder with all the things you can do in and around Dallas.

Hi, thanks for booking with me! Future guests: The pots and pans (5) are in the drawer under the stove and cutlery is usually in the drawers/cabinets, however they were in the dishwasher this time (sorry about that).

We had a great stay here at Chassitys. She was very nice and and informative. Her apartment was cute and very clean and a great price. The only negative thing for me was that it got really hot. I woke up during the night just uncomfortable and hot so it was hard to go back to sleep. My friend didn't have a problem though, but I like it cooler when I sleep. I only mention this, so that way if you like it cooler too, I would definitely recommend bringing a fan with you. But I would definitely stay again and just bring a fan with me next time

I hope you had a great time in Dallas. I keep the air on Auto 74 (until cold winter days when I turn on the heat) so that it's neutral and turns on and off instead of running all day $$, sometimes the thermostat number does creep up a degree or two in the middle of the night. Future guest can bring a personal size fan if it makes them sleep better at night.
