Great location, half a mile from the Providence Children's Museum and a short drive to downtown Providence/RISD/Brown. Fully functional kitchen, and Colleen was a communicative and gracious host. As the other reviewer mentioned, the "head" is particularly pungent. With the doors and windows open it's not too bad, but using the facilities was rough. Luckily, Colleen was kind enough to leave a key to the marina's restroom, but that wasn't a practical option at night or in the rain. Parking was a little bit difficult; there are two nearby lots, but their parking goes only until 3 am due to the two nearby clubs, so we ended up circling the block to look for overnight street parking. One last note: the harbor is just next to a large power plant. The noise from the factory is quite loud, and made it a little difficult to sleep, despite the delightful rocking of the boat. Overall, it was a great place to crash for a last-minute trip to Providence, and would be good for someone planning to take in the night life of the city.

This is a fun boat house, an easy walk from WaterFire and downtown. Comfortable bed, plus an OK futon. Drinks on the top deck overlooking the river was the highlight. Only real downside is: you can smell the ship toilet throughout the boat. Colleen is responsive and a gracious host. All in all a fun and memorable stay.
