Hi Anja, I'd first like to say I'm so sorry for your less than 5 star experience. This series of unfortunate events is extremely uncommon for us, as you can see from the other reviews we work extremely hard to maintain a 5 star standard. The double payment request was actually a fault of Airbnb. There was a glitch in their system where your payment did not show up, until I called them. Once I spoke to them on the phone, I asked the villa manager who was seeing you that day to let you know that all was well and we have receipt of your payment :)
It's unfortunate that none of your complaints were mentioned to the villa manager who came in to make sure you were having a great time every single day... This is what she is there for. Had she known of these mishaps, she would have brought a team in to bring the villa up to your standard, and had meetings with the current housekeeping staff. Upon reading your review, we have let go of the current housekeeper and replaced her immediately with one who is older and more experienced. We take this issue very seriously. As for the doorbell, I'm not sure what happened there? Was it a wiring issue? Either way, the villa manager was not notified of this. If she had been, she would have had it fixed straight away. Also, we offer all of our guests pick up from their previous destination with our trusted driver because this villa is in a beautiful area of Seminyak which is unknown to most locals as it's filled with some of the most prestigious and high end villas in Bali. Again, I'm so sorry for your experience, and we do hope you have a safe trip home.
