Having stayed in many Air B and B’s I can honestly say this is one of the best , totally unique building and location and superbly well managed . The cottage has a thatch and peat roof that im told is one of only 2 left in Ireland dating back several hundred years . The proportions of the kitchen/dinning area are vast and the window frme looks as if its has come from a stately house The house is perfectly equipped bone dry with central heating in addition to the numerous open fires we were greeted with flowers eggs milk and enough peat to get us going . The area itself is also fascinating and we spent most of the time either learning to surf in StrandHill, exploring ancient burial grounds or meeting super friendly locals at the local bar. We plan to return on a regular basis and keen to try fly fishing on nearby lakes Can not recommend this place enough , it’s a GEM A*

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and the environment are beautiful. The place huge and it is really secluded. There is only one adjaced building but we didn't see or hear much of those living in there. There is no wifi and TV and the phone's reception is not good enough to be able to use the internet. If you want a break from social media etc. it is the perfect place... Communication was a bit slow and confusing in the beginning as there are obviously several people involved but I guess this is because they are rather new in the business...
