Nice space; roomy, well lit, nice views. Loved the coffee shop below; everything else requires driving, but that was expected. Highly recommend hiking in Harpers Ferry (1 mile up the road) and eating meals in nearby Shepherdstown (approx. 20 min drive).

The stay at Sarah's place was fantastic! I had a chance to say hello to Sara when I arrived. She was very friendly and made sure we could check into the apartment. The unit itself was easily accessed of Route 340. Parking was a breeze as there were plenty of spaces in front of the home. (We did stay in mid-September so I'm not sure if it gets busier.) Having the electronic door lock was nice touch since it allowed us to run without having to carry another key. We showed up to a clean apartment with an incredibly comfortable bed. The unit was as picturesque as advertised. Seeing the mountains appear as the morning fog started to fade is a site to behold. Perhaps our favorite part about staying here was the fact that there is a coffee shop right below the apartment. I cannot stress how amazing that was. If you want to visit Harpers Ferry it's just a short walk or bike ride away. This would definitely be a great place to stay and relax if you need a break hiking the AT. All in all we had a fantastic time at Sara's place and would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful place. Clean and convenient with modern appliances and personal touches. First time airbnb experience and it was wonderful. A step in time bakery next door was delicious and the guide shack has a free small indoor climbing wall our 6 yr old daughter loved!

We really liked that large living room with lots of windows, and views of the mountains. Really makes a difference! It is quite convenient to be on top of a coffee shop, but don't get your hopes high: there isn't any cooked food in that place (at least when we stayed, in Aug). There is a bakery next door that offers something, sometimes. There is an italian place a short walk down the street, and that's a good place to eat. Overall, a really convenient spot.

Nice place to stay while exploring HF and the area. Steps to a coffee shop/cafe and bakery. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Sarah was kind enough to accommodate a last minute issue that arose and it was greatly appreciated. I was glad I packed the ear plugs as there was ongoing construction next door and barking dog downstairs. Overall it was a good experience.

I live, work and play in beautiful Harpers Ferry, WV! A West Virginia native by birth, I relocated to the Eastern Panhandle in 2000. I manage two bed and breakfasts, and eight lovely vacation rentals... all in Harpers Ferry. I also opened my own consignment shop in Occtober of 2015, Wildflowers Consignment Boutique. Check us out when you are in Harpers Ferry! I am actively on the board of Harpers Ferry - Bolivar Historic Town Foundation, which does great things for our historic small town. I am also very active with the local Merchants Associations. I feel like I am an ambassador of tourism to Harpers Ferry and can recommend many things to do while visiting our lovely town.
