The little things that we did not expect, fresh baked bread, home made jams and a welcoming that was warm and friendly. Very Comfortable.

Pablo is a friendly guy with a great eye for detail. There was a fresh bread upon arrival, and everything you need for a great weekend get-away is there. It's a good place to start hiking. A great garden with lots of privacy. Would recommend it for a weekend get-away, nice and co…

Pablo was a great host, made sure everything was ready for us, even left us homemade bread and butter! The cabin was very clean and had a nice charm to it, it was private but you still felt safe as you’re not in the middle of nowhere. Me and my wife thoroughly enjoyed our stay an…

Pablo was a wonderful host and the area surrounding the petit chalet was a wonderful weekend getaway. We had a lot of fun hiking up and over the Grand Salève, including getting to watch paragliders and hang gliders. Enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks at Cafe de L'Union (the only p…

Response from Pablo:
Thank you Jan for your useful comments. Concerning the boiler, this is effectively of 30 Liters and this is what I usually send as an automatic message but i haven't translated yet and your French is not so good unfortunately. In any case this information is given directly at the check-in but you arrived very late and next day everything was closed until mid-afternoon so I didn't wanted to disturb. Sorry in any case for misunderstanding. Concerning the price, well, you have 3 electric heaters and this is already some 7-10.- CHF effective costs per day and preparing the cabin is about 2 hours work + washing everything + bread etc. for the welcome basket. In the past, cost where a bit lower, but this meant losing money, specially accepting hosts for only 1 day. This situation was no longer possible. It is a reality that it is a "petit chalet" and specially concerning the lavatory and kitchen space. If you had the opportunity to enlarge this space I would do it. But step by step, I've only very recently started to hire this place. Again, thank you for you constructive and useful comments. (I thought that my message for the hot water capacity was integrated in the specifications. I'll correct it). Pablo
