Very cute and cozy cottage. Fun decor and we had everything we needed as well!! Not too sure how safe the neighborhood is. I would make sure to lock your car as there were people rumaging through the trash. Over all it was a good stay.

Response from Gwen:
Thanks for your review and glad you had a good stay. Yes the whole city of Eureka has a homeless and transient problem. They often times will be seen in the alley rummaging through trash and recyclables but have not heard of them going on to peoples property and have not had any problems with break ins in the neighborhood. The neighbors are very communicative with us and keep an eye on things on the street. Guests shouldn't have a concern about safety just the inconvenience of transients at times.

The sign in Gwen's entry way sums up our experience, "This is a small house, with a big welcome." The cottage is charming and stocked with just about anything one could want/need for an extended stay.

Cozy house with easy walking distance to Old Town. Very cute with lots of little extras. Great place for 2-4 people. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is very bright and quaint. It's very central and close to all. They gave great recommendations for places to go nearby. The 2nd bedroom is very small and the bathroom door is more of a barn door so it makes for an intimate feel.
