Everything was what I expected. Keith met me and showed me around, so I knew what was what. It’s location is awesome. Less than 10 minutes down the road is a low traffic back way to observation point. I didn’t see a single person until I got to the end of the hike! Super happy wi…

We only had only a little time at the Johnson Ranch. We really enjoyed our funky trailer. It was huge (Maple). We star gazed at night and had some deer as our company. One morning, we woke up to some turkey calls.

Good place to stay if you are going to Zion and don't want to spend too much on a hotel. Just know there is no wifi, if you stay in spring the water freezes at night so you won't have running water in the morning, and there is a lot of junk in front of the trailer.

Response from Keith:
The cold days are finished, and you did have running water after a few seconds of thawing. WiFi is intermittent for now, I use a booster which brings up the WiFi from the lodge. The "junk" is building material from the neighbor, and will be removed soon. Wonderful forest all around...look at the positive!

Keith was very communicative and helpful. The location is excellent. Unfortunately, the RV is old and not well suited to four adults (although it might work for a family with young children).

Response from Keith:
Plenty room for sleeping and eating and cozy conversations at night for 5 people. You are not paying for a spacious luxury hotel. Most people want to be outside in nature most of the time. But thanks for the thought.

We got a cancellation on the same day (morning) when we were heading to a forest to hike. We had to rebook a place in the middle of a trip and it was stressful. I understand there can be unexpected events but I didn't hear from the host about this. I only learnt about this from A…

Keith was an amazing and communicative host! He even gathered some dry pine needles and pine cones for us as fire starters, and he gave directions for us to do the east rim hike from right by his place. It was an amazing stay!

I own and operate a business in the USA during summer months, and often travel to teach International Business classes at universities in Asia, South America, and Mexico. I like a quiet, clean place to stay when I travel and take good care of any place.
