Dear Ramiz, thank you for an in-depth summary. First of all - if you did not like the space, I am interested why did you extend your stay? You stayed in low season where Tamarindo is empty and you could have stayed wherever you wanted in other 200 properties in Tamarindo, especially since your incident happened at the first night. Usually in Costa Rica if you leave food on the floor and on the table, some ants will enter, since you are in the jungle, those pretty birds you came to see tend to eat insects. There was one ant, not multiple ants. This problem could have been solved in another way then you threatening our staff member that she was so scared that she had to call the property manager to deal with you. Threatening a 20 year old girl is not only cowardly, but also totally unacceptable. Also if there really was an ant invasion we would have gladly moved you to another room and solve the problem for the future guests, however we did not see any insects except one ant, so we did not find it necessary. The building is new and there are no cracks in the wall. If you would have showed us an apparent crack we could have helped you immediately, however we did not find any crack in the wall. For the future guests, if you do find a problem in your room we would be more then happy to solve it immediately.
