Welcome to the Mermaid Cabin near the beach; a short ten minute walk, The cabin is the perfect get-away. Decorated to feel like you are immersed in the sea, your space is also clean and efficient. Maybe it inspires romance or maybe it inspires a peaceful personal retreat.I welcome ALL races and ALL types of relationships. All of you is welcome here!

The space
My hope is that your experience will be like a retreat in nature. The ocean breezes and scents . . and the song of the Dove’s cooing. Come back to a space you can easily meditate, lounge around in a plush spa robe, or open a bottle of wine/beer chilling in the mini fridge. Other options include; BBQ on the patio, taking my kayaks out on the bay to immerse yourself in nature completely. Take the bikes on a ride to the Embarcadero to view the sea otters, or surf at the Rock (best surf in the area). Really great road trips can start here too - to go north to see the Elephant Seals, to Big Sur, to Hearst Castle, San Simeon Cove, (so many small beaches along the way to explore and collect driftwood, shells and stones), Cayucos Pier, Whale Rock Reservoir, and the many wineries in Paso Robles (still open for viewing, orders, not tasting). To venture south on a day trip could include; Pismo Preserve ( a new hiking trail with awesome ocean views), Shell Beach (best substation brunch at The Cliffs), Avila Beach/cove, San Luis Obispo Edna Valley, Monarch Butterfly Grove in Pismo, Oceano Dunes where you can drive on the beach, and Lopez Lake in Arroyo Grande for fishing, boating and hiking.

This space is small (10 x 26 ft) which is why I named it a cabin. There is no space for a third person to sleep on the floor.

Conveniences:
There is an electric kettle and tea, mugs, dishes, silverware and drinking glasses for two. A microwave oven and small coffee maker (coffee you provide). A mini refrigerator. A BBQ on the patio table. A place to sit outside on the patio and relax. Parking right outside your door.

Large fluffy white towels.

Super soft “spa” robes.

Two organic, certified asthma free pillows.

There is an extra wool blanket.

There is a portable heater.

You have some quiet yard space of your own to sit outside. We have plenty of hummingbirds to enchant you!

I have two kayaks you can use located onshore in Baywood (a twenty minute drive South Bay). (Small fee and signed waiver needed.) You can literally pull the kayaks into the Bay just a few steps away.

I also have two bikes you can use!

Location

Morro Bay, California, United States

I live in a very safe neighborhood that is quiet. The streets are flat which makes walking and bike rides easy. You can access the bike paths across the highway to ride or walk to the Rock and waterfront/Embarcadero. There is a farmers market on Thursdays from 2:30-4:30 with the best; soup, chips and guacamole, and of course fruit and veggies. It's located in the parking lot at Spencer's Market, also an easy quick walk. Nearby restaurants are within walking distance and pretty tasty too.

I'm a Mom of three amazing sons, one of whom dances professionally for Oregon Ballet Theater in Portland. I work from home and owner of my own business: A New Leaf 4 You; Facilitating Healing on the Trail. (Website hidden by Airbnb) How I like to host my guests; it's completely based on what I have appreciated from my own experience of renting vacation rentals here in California, and travels to Maine, Lake Tahoe, Sedona, NYC, Seattle . . . Jamaica, Costa Rica, Ireland, England, France and Italy. These experiences combined has made me super aware of what WORKS and what does not! I noticed that thoughtful and personal touches go a long way in making guests feel comfortable and relaxed. I look forward to helping you feel that ALL OF YOU IS WELCOME HERE! I embrace all religions, relationships and skin colors!

During your stay
Interaction with my guests includes these offerings:

Guided hike: Get the "local" perspective on where to go, what to notice on the trail, and favorite spots. 90 minutes and less is $15 per person.

Coaching on the trail (see my website) is like nature therapy with my facilitation. Achieve clarity and figure out your next step: $45 per person.

Guided Meditation: 30 minutes $10 per person.

Yoga on the beach if weather permits: I've been practicing yoga since 1996 and know what postures will help your back, hips and shoulders.

If any of these appeal to you, I will send you the link to add it to your stay.
Outside spaces are communal. I like to think it works because of the house rules I set forth and my good karma :)
