This is a 3 bedroom house with 2 bathrooms. 1 bathroom has two sinks, a toilet, washer and dryer, and a tub with a shower head. 2nd bathroom is in the master bedroom and has 1 sink, a toilet, and a shower.
This is our home so we would like a family who would respect that. We do have a couple of goldfish. We also have a chicken in a coop outside and you're welcome to her eggs while you're here. She lays 1 egg a day.
During August and September, there is a burn ban so no fires.
The house is a three minute walk from the John Day River and the riverfront park. There are lots of rafting, swimming and fishing spots.
Over 1100 sq feet to use with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, a kitchen with everything you may need, a big-fenced yard, and enough parking to accommodate up to 5 cars comfortably. You could park more cars if you need to.
There are some trees up front for shade and a nice grassy area if you want to sit outside and hang out.
There is also a treadmill that you are welcome to use.
The house has dark engineered vinyl wood flooring, light-colored walls, and half-height windows in rooms. Rooms have carpet for now.
Entire house and yard. We have about an acre of space for your use. There will be a burn ban. No fires outside and no burning anything in the wood stove either.
Interaction with guests
I will not be available, but I can give you a tour at the beginning to show you what you the house and answer any questions. I will leave a phone number for messages if you need assistance and I'm not available.
Other things to note
There is one gas station/store/cafe in town. It's called the Lone Elk and they sell a small selection when it comes to groceries. They will have lots of gas, drinks, and ice. They are open from 6am to 7pm everyday except on Sundays when they're only open from 6am to 6pm.
No shoes in the house.
No pets in the house. You can bring a pet, but they have to stay outside or be in a carrier if you have to bring them inside.
No smoking in the house. Smoking is fine anywhere outside the house. Just don't start any fires and don't just throw the cigarette butts everywhere.
Respect the space because we live here. If something breaks, let us know.
