GOKAYAMA Gassho no Sato (Gassho Village) are 100 to 400 years old, and were moved to this location for building conservation.We're working hard to maintain the beautiful scenery, invaluable history and traditional culture of GOKAYAMA's A-frame architecture style now and in the future.We welcome you to stay in our traditional wooden houses and experience rural Japanese life. Come relax, and forget your cares for a while.We look forward to seeing you and hope you'll enjoy staying at Gassho no Sato

Great experience. Houses are close to Gokoyama bus stop. Mai was very helpful host, providing useful info. There are stinky bugs around but they are not harmful and you should not be scared of them.
