The space
When you request to book, kindly introduce yourself, and let us know more about your trip.
Our house offers a cozy getaway for families or friends, with spectacular views of the lake. It is located up a hill within a couple of minutes access to the Panamerican highway.
You can relax on the deck by the mountain water pool, read a book, or take a hike up the mountain.

The main house has two bedrooms that can accommodate up to 5 people. It is not a huge house but it’s comfortable, there’s a dining space, kitchen; outside the house there's an open deck with two levels, one for sitting on lounge chairs and another with a long dining table next to mountain water pool (cold and refreshing water) **the pool water comes from the mountain - keep that in mind as it’s not artificial with bleach, during rainy season might get more natural debris but we do our best to have it available for all of our guests**
There's an extra room attached to main cabin which can accomodate another 5 guests. - this will be available is your party is bigger than 5.

Where you’ll be

Sector Lago de Yojoa, Departamento de Cortés, Honduras

As part of one of the leading touristic corridors in the country, there are plenty of attractions around Yojoa Lake which you can do under your own steam. These include visiting the impressive Caves of Taulabé, where you can venture deep into the remarkable cave system full of delicate rock formations.
Travelers can also easily access the Los Naranjos Ecological and Archaeological Park, where several kilometers of trail connects with a kilometer-long boardwalk that stretches across the lake’s wetlands, giving visitors incredible access to all kinds of wildlife you won’t ordinarily have the chance to approach. The lake itself teems with bird life, best appreciated on a rowboat or kayak ride at dawn, and the nearby Pulhapanzak waterfall is only a 30-minute drive away; visit the cascade and climb behind the roaring water, zip-line in the surrounding forest, or relax and take a dip in its fresh waters.
