This cute little house feels like a cabin that's tucked away in the mountains even though it's located in town. Walking distance to 2 great breweries, bike lane that takes you into Cheyenne Canyon, and wildlife wanders into the yard sometimes. If you're looking for an authentic Colorado experience, but still want to stay in town, this is it. Nearby: rock climbing, mountain biking, hiking, waterfalls, zoo, distilleries, downtown, and the interstate! PLEASE READ ENTIRE LISTING BEFORE BOOKING!

The space

This house is full of character. It was built in 1920 and was obviously made for someone who is not very tall. That being said, if you are a taller individual you might feel kinda scrunched. The shower is especially short (raised clawfoot tub + short ceilings = short shower) but the bathtub is lovely to use. My husband and I lived here for over a year and showered every day with no problem. The detachable shower head makes it great. If a short shower is an issue for anyone in your group, I would not recommend staying here. If you want to give it less than a 5-star rating just because of this, please don't book this listing :)

Guest access

Please enjoy all of the space! There is a ton of parking in the front and you can also park on the street. There's a fenced backyard. If you have pets, make sure both gates are closed before letting your pups run around back there. We don't keep trash cans outside of the house because there are neighborhood BEARS, so please let me know if you need a trash pick up before checkout and I'll be happy to come pick it up. You should make sure to keep all food and trash indoors. If you have bikes, please park them inside of the cabin (the mud room is great for this). And please make sure you don't leave any valuables in your car.

Interaction with guests

Please text my personal cell if you need anything at all.

Other things to note

The old clawfoot tub is wonderful for soaking in. The switch to the garbage disposal is under the sink. If you need additional trash pick up, please let me know and I'll take care of that for you.

The property description is extremely accurate. The location is great and close to many Colorado Springs attractions. The first night we experienced an issue with the heater, however Brittany was great and engaged quickly to repair the issue. Overall we had a great time and a great stay.

The cabin was perfect for my fellow and I! We loved it because it was a great central location to all the beautiful attractions of Colorado. Downtown was 5 min away, you have pikes peak less than 30 min away, you have Denver about an hour away, cliff dwellings, cave of the winds, Manitou incline and more! The cabin was clean and cozy. It has all the amenities you need but if there’s something you need Brittany will be more than happy to help! She always checked in on us to see if we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything! We’ll definitely be back!

Great little rustic cabin nestled just outside of Colorado Springs, just a short 5 minute drive to the downtown area. Our pup loved running around in the yard and the cabin was just the cost experience we were looking for. Brittany was an awesome host, super friendly, and answered all communications within minutes. We would love to stay at her place again!

This is the perfect little house for a trip to Colorado Springs. Charming house with a slight view of the mountains. Very clean throughout, with beautiful little touches by Brittany. Comfortable, warm and clean house tucked back into a quite Colorado Springs neighborhood. Short drive to the mountains, Olympic training center and great local attractions. I will being staying at Brittany's again next trip. Thanks!

Hi there! My name is Brittany and I'm a business owner, teacher, artist and animal lover in Colorado Springs. I've lived all over Colorado but I've really fallen in love with everything "the Springs" has to offer. My husband, Nick and I started a transportation company that brings people to the ski resorts, or the breweries, or up Pikes Peak or just into the mountains. We love our little business! It's called Rocky Mountain Ride (ask me for a free t-shirt or pint glass!) and we're in our 3rd year. We just started offering concert shuttles to Red Rocks Amphitheater, which is super exciting for us. I also teach art classes and Sunday School class and walk/sit dogs. It's a pretty awesome life. When I'm not busy with work you can catch me at any one of the local breweries enjoying some nice IPAs and hanging with my 7 year old Weimaraner, Toby. If you need suggestions for things to do in the Pikes Peak region, I'm the person to ask! I love hosting an I want to make sure your stay is amazing!!
