Comfortable, welcoming, family-feel, a short walk to the beach! This fully furnished, comfy colonial makes a perfect artist-retreat. The house sits on a half-acre of green, so plenty of privacy, with kind, lovely folks to welcome you in the village and a generally relaxed atmosphere.

The house is curl-up-with-a-good-book cozy... with wood floors, skylights, a full kitchen, it is bright, cheerful and unfussy in its charm.

Janine is 10+++ host. There is a house book that tells you everything you need to know. The sun room and deck are wonderful and there is a brand new grill for cooking on the deck as well as a large table with shade umbrella. When we had any questions Janine was readily available via text. The house is about 1/2 mile to downtown Sag Harbor for restaurants and taverns. We walked there every day and you also pass Havens Beach along the way. We will stay here again if we have the opportunity. Thank you Janine!

This is a great place to stay, a beautiful much loved family home with lovely porch and garden. The host couldn't have been more accommodating and communicative and generous and thoughtful in many ways, for example putting together some beach toys amongst other things for my girls. Very peaceful and only a short walk from the very vibrant Sag Harbor toen and a stones throw from the almost deserted but gorgeous Havens beach.

This is such a cute little home in the Sag Harbor area, perfect for a few quiet summer days in a sleepy little town. The back deck and outdoor shower are what make this space worth a stay. The studio is also a charming little room with a fold out bed that was definitely my first choice spot to sleep and wake up to the light shining into the room every morning. The main part of the town is within a comfortable walking distance--most likely about a mile or so. The area around the home is very quiet with the exception of a decent amount of traffic on the street. That also made the studio and deck preferred areas to hang out since they are in the back of the home away from the street. These are also some of the more modern or updated parts of the home. The rest of the home is very much what you would expect from an older, beach town cottage. Janine is a lovely host who sets out a lot of notes and a very useful binder to provide all of the information you will need to make the most of your time in the home and in the surrounding area. There are great comfort amenities like a Roku hooked up to the television and wifi in the home for the modern traveler who still needs to be a little connected. Overall, a home well worth the stay and at a really great value for the region during the summer months.

It was a great little house to stay in for the week. The back deck is amazing with wildlife roaming around at all times of the day. Janine was available to help us all week and was a delightful hostess. Thank you Janine :)

It a bilingual household. So Bienvenue aux Francophones!
My husband and I are both artsy types who enjoy our cozy spot very much when it is not being rented. We love nothing more than breakfast on the deck under the sky and an afternoon picnic at the beach. We typically walk or bike to and from the village. I enjoy cooking and baking. So although the restaurants are amazing, the kitchen has always been in regular use.
This is our home, not merely a rental property, so we are interested in renting to folks who will care for it as we do and treat it kindly.
We adore Sag Harbor. It offers us all the Hamptons in easy reach, yet the peace and serenity of a quiet retreat. My family has been connected deeply to Sag for 3 generations.
