The house is located on concrete block stilts Stairs are required for entrance into the home.
The house is nestled in the woods on the banks of the Suwannee River so there is the possibility of coming upon wildlife such as deer turkey or even an otter please don't harass the wildlife as for they feel this is their home too.
Please note due to the proximity of the property Well water is the only option; the water is treated through a water softener system.

Enjoy the beauty of old Florida. The house is nestled in a wooded area where you may see a deer or two or an otter swimming in the river. Although there is an abundance of wild life there is no hunting allowed!!
We are located near Mallory Swamp where if you wanted you can obtain a hunting license.
Or if you prefer fishing just bring your poles and tackle and see what you can catch.
If Saltwater fishing is what you desire then Steinhatchee Florida on the Gulf offers some of the best fishing or scalloping around.
Please remember the Suwannee River is a natural body of water that flows into the Gulf of Mexico. The banks are surrounded by trees and brush and an abundance of wildlife including alligators, turtles and snakes so use caution while playing on the river.
