We love Jonquil's place, a truly unique and creative nook, eclectic and wonderful. It more than fulfilled our expectations. Lovely hosts in the heart of the beautiful French countryside. The cottage is well equipped with everything you could possibly need including a very cultured and comprehensive English library. Nice wood fire to relax in front of at the end of the day. We fell in love with the friendly pets. Close to the river Seille for fishing and nature walks. A great base to explore the historical and gastronomic treasures of Southern Burgundy. Fully recommended. We would love to return.

This place is a delight. We received a very warm welcome from Jonquil and her family who couldn't have been more helpful and gave us all sorts of information about things to do in the area, good places to eat and vineyards to visit for degustation. The house is comfortable, full of character, spacious and has everything you need for a perfect stay. It was lovely to be able to sit out under the vine and watch the chickens scratching for food, in the company of Frodo, Jonquil's very friendly and large dog. There are no shops in the village so it's a bit of a trek to the boulangerie but that really didn't cause a problem. We would thoroughly recommend this cottage.

It's a lovely place to stay for a night or a few days also with a child (1 year old). We had breakfast in the morning Sun, under the grapevines, while watching the chickens peck the ground. A perfect place to forget all day life stress as a nice start of a holiday!

Stayed one night travelling to spain. The house is unbelivebly cosy and honely. Jonquil is a perfect host, there to answer all your questions but gives privacy and trust. my son loved the dollhouse and the big friendly dog. Would stay here again in a second!

The cottage is really cosy! Your own private space, kitchen, terrace, livingroom....a nice home, away from home. The owners, Jonquil and Franck, are very nice and open. You can ask them anything. Jonquil, as a tourguide, can fill you in about all the places to be, if you want. Also the dog, cats and chickens made us feel at home. Every day a fresh tomatosalad with fresh basil from their kitchen garden. Delicious. The area is beautiful. Nearby a river (fishing, swimming or canoetrips) , a medieval town, lots of garage sales and markets in the neighbourhood. But if you not want to go anywhere, it is still the best place to be. With a book and something to drink.....a perfect place to rejoice for a while.

Dear hosts, thank you si much for your hospitality! You have a wonderful house full of interesting things. If you like countryside, quietness and/or travel with kids, I'd strongly recommend you to come here. Lots of toys, antique furniture, a huge library both in English and French, wonderful garden with hens and a big friendly dog. I wish we could stay longer!

This is definitely a very nice place to stay and I can surely recommend it. The hosts are friendly and made us feel right at home. The house itself is how it should be, a house which I can call a home away from home.
