My place is good for solo adventurers, and furry friends (pets).

The space

I used to run "Nita's" as a Bed and Breakfast, but with Pete's Eats a chips throw away, the spar 5 minutes walk, it s easy for guests to get what they need. The lounge is a comfy, shared space, with a wood burner. Make yourself at home here!

Guest access

Living room, sunny decking to the rear of the house.

Interaction with guests

If I m around, I m more than happy to advise on walking and climbing in the area, and local knowledge. I ve lived here for 35 years, and am an International Mountain Leader, so I can guide you on a mountain adventure if you wish.

Other things to note

If I m not here, a trusted friend will let you in and be a point of contact for your stay.
The parking restrictions only apply in the parking bays, between 9-5, so it's fine to park overnight, until 19.30, in these zones. The pay and display by the lake is also free overnight, but you really need to move the car by 9am. You can also get lucky and park in any of the non restricted places.

I love my guests to make them selves at home. Because I am on the High Street, please take your shoes off, and use the boot rack on the right as you enter. Thank you

You must also acknowledge
Must climb stairs - It is an old mid terrace, so they are a bit steep, with a handrail
Pet(s) live on property - Dolly is an old husky. She is nervous, so I tend to keep her out of the way!
No parking on property - There is a 90 minute parking allowance in the bays opposite, between 9am - 5pm. Pay and display nearby at the lakeside.

Anita's place is exactly as described, perfect for a solo traveler. Super comfy bed, the whole house is nice and warm, and there's a huge bath which is nice at the end of a long day of hiking. Didn't get to meet Anita in person but her stand-in Sam was lovely. Communication was super quick and check-in was as easy as opening the door! Enjoyed my stay here so much I extended it by another two days. You can walk to / up Snowdon from here without having to get any public transport, but if you did need to get bus anywhere it stops literally right outside the door. Highly recommended.

This was my My second stay at Anitas .. I felt at home as it's a very relaxed atmosphere. .served very well by bus to all the walks up snowdon and easy to get to from Bangor by bus. If your getting cab from Bangor station best to prebook as it's only £25 if you pre book. I used taxi from Llanberis. . Lovely big bath and a much needed cup of tea was waiting after my hike up snowdon. ..dolly is a big softy so don't worry about the dog she was fine with me ! Thank you Anita will be back soon !

Anita's place has an excellent location. Bus 85/86 from Bangor drops you right in front of the house and the Sherpa bus S1/S2 (which takes you to Pen Y Pass, one of the trailheads for Snowdown) is a couple of minutes walk. The room is great for one and was warm and sunny in the afternoon - great experience! The bathroom is spacious and clean. Highly recommended for hiking up to Snowdon and the Glyders.

Went to Llanberis to walk Snowdon. Anita's place is perfect for this. I did not meet Anita, however booking was swift, and her friend Sam was very helpful and informative. I would recommend Anita's place as a good base to stay in Llanberis.

First time AirBnB user here, so wasn't sure what to expect. Happily, what I found was exactly what I was after - clean, affordable, well situated, simple and uncomplicated accommodation to come back to each night while I explored Snowdonia. Anita's was perfect in this regard. My one gripe is that parking was a bit of a pain. The side streets have were free but couldn't always find a spot so sometimes had pay up for public car parks. Cannot fault Anita for this, however. Only regret is that I didn't manage to befriend their beautiful dog, Dolly, as she didn't seem to like me very much :(
