No pets upstairs, please. And please bring proper covers if you cannot keep the dog off the chairs!!, As we live surrounded by sheep, it is important to remove your outside shoes BEFORE walking on carpeted area. Sheep poo is horrible to get off the carpets! So I suggest you unload the car then go upstairs. Sorry to be so detailed but the carpets have been stained quite often.

A beautiful peaceful stay. The views are incredible! Shirley was an amazing host, all the little touches she added made it even more lovely. The annex was really cosy and comfy with everything you could possibly need.

Lovely plot right out in the country. Walk from the door through a lovely common with plenty of wildlife, couple of ponds and meet the neighbouring sheep. Short Taxi from Malvern with nice restaurants and nightlife. Had a great time.

A really lovely long weekend was spent at Shirley's annex. It had everything we needed with a fully functioning kitchen (we were mainly eating in) and good, comfortable seating area with Sky TV and lots of books. You are right on the edge of the Malvern Hills so great for walks but also easy access to villages and towns. There is one pub in walking distance - however it's a 20 minute walk via 3 fields and a track so walking boots and torch recommended. It wasn't a problem for us and we went a few times but to be aware. Shirley provided great instructions to find her as Satnav doesn't quite take you all the way, the end of the road is quite basic and full of potholes but take it easy and watch out for the sheep and it's fine! On arrival Shirley had provided us with all the basics (and a bit more!) with milk, cereal, bread, butter, tea, coffee, juice etc. This was great and meant we at least started the day with a good breakfast. Shirley was always available if we did need anything but to be fair we didn't, but knew she was there if we did. Also as we were lucky enough to have such lovely weather it was a bonus to access to a small garden. Finally the bedroom was very comfortable and roomy, lots of storage and a very good hairdryer (not those rubbish travel ones) and shampoo, conditioner and shower gel all available in the bathroom which has a bath and over head electric shower. I would recommend staying here and hope if you do you have as relaxing a time as we did.

Cor, thank you Jo, gives a fuller account than my original listing! We have to make the road up ourselves, and we are all getting older. Glad you enjoyed your visit.

Shirley was excellent, great communication. The annex was great with everything you could want, Shirley provides some cereal, bread, butter, marmalade, all the essentials things to get you set up for the first mornings breakfast. Plenty of cleaning supplies to keep the place tidy, if you stayed for longer there is a washing machine and clothes horse. The garden is well fenced and our little Jack Russell couldn't get out, It is in a great location that is easily to access Malvern, Eastnor, Ledbury etc. A couple of pubs nearby, we had a drink in one but can firmly recommend the Duke of York pub on the A438 just a little drive down the road, the owners are ever so friendly and suggested a couple of places to visit while we were away. Perfect for walkers as there are various paths right from the front door and only a short drive to the Malvern hills for great views.

Thank you Allan, for taking the time to write a review, not everyone does! It helps to make the effort put in worthwhile. I want everyone staying in the flat to get what they need from the break. You are welcome back any time.

Shirley was a very welcome and friendly host. The accommodation was located in a stunning rural and peaceful location. Wonderful walks and views of the Malvern Hills from the upstairs windows and from the first step outside the garden gate. Very well equipped and great value for money. Cosy and comfortable.
