This cottage is a gem! It has a warm cozy charm and all the amenities are of high standard. The only bathroom has a nice shower and plenty of hot water - but it is very small and has limited shelf space. For this reason I recommend this cabin especially for a small family or for…

I am sorry that the cottage bathroom and its limited shelf space did not meet your expectations on your return visit to Bittersweet Cottage. The bathroom , although not generous in size , is newly renovated with a full size tub and shower, tile flooring, custom built sink cabinet and antique storage cupboard. In regard to your recommendations on the size of parties, Bittersweet Cottage, with all its other amenities, does have a history of successfully accommodating groups of 5-6 who were readily able to adapt to sharing the bathroom space (and have chosen to make return reservations ) .

Bittersweet Cottage is a great, quiet place. It was our 2nd time staying for multiple nights and it was an ideal base for mountain biking. Guests can expect a comfortable and relaxed Cottage with a lot of thoughtful touches. Definitely recommend if you’re in the Danville area.
