The room itself was super great! The beds were comfy and clean, as well as the rest of the room. The two chairs were also really comfortable. We did hit a bit of a snag during check in however as the person that was supposed to let us in wasn't there and didn't show up for a good bit of time which was unfortunate as it was rather hot out. But he was a really nice host when he showed up and gave us a brief tour of the house as well as our room. Free water and cup noodles was a plus!
The house was in a safe neighbourhood. We took a Lyft there and it cost about $10 from Boston South Station. The location was fine and not too far from city centre. We got to the house and rang the bell as instructed, but no one was there. We called the host and she had to call us back in a few minutes. We got in the house after 5 minutes. The place was as described, with the shower area and kitchen being a little dirty. There were cup noodles and chips waiting for us in the room which were nice! The host accidentally gave us the wrong room, and later called us to see if we have already used anything in the room. So we accidentally got a larger bed which is a plus. There are other people that rent the house as well, so be expected to share and wait for the bathroom and using the kitchen. We just stayed for the one night so it wasn't a big deal. Overall I would recommend this place for anyone who is on a budget and just wanted a decent room to stay for the night in the Boston area.
