Great location
95% of recent guests gave the location a 5-star rating.
Enjoy your stay in East Texas with views of rolling hills, meadows, and wooded areas. The private cottage sits on our 20-acre farm and is central to Tyler, Lindale, Mineola and Canton.

The private cottage includes all the amenities you'll need for a comfortable stay, including easy access to I-20 and Highway 110.

The space
The cottage has quite a history in the Garden Valley area. According to local sources, the original cabin was built shortly after the Civil War. Porches were added and then closed in for a kitchen then a bedroom and a bathroom was added probably around 1950-60. A large deck was added giving the area an outdoor living space and has been the site of many fun celebrations and parties. In 2010 the house was completely renovated, leaving the old time charm but updating it to be more space efficient. It is a house that if"walls could talk", there would be many interesting tales as local lore has bank robbers frequenting the area and rumors of 'interesting' characters visiting this cabin abound.
