The house is a former weaver's cottage in the old, conservation area of Frome. Just a short two-minute stroll from Catherine Hill, it's the perfect spot to enjoy Frome's independent shops and cafes.
The Garden Room is en-suite and looks out onto an old courtyard garden, so it's quiet.
The main part of the house was built in 1694, so tall people may need to mind their heads going through some of the doorways! (But don't worry, the living spaces themselves are of at least full ceiling height.)
I'll put a light breakfast out in the kitchen, so that you can help yourselves when you're up and ready.
(You can help yourselves to tea/coffee at other times too!)
Interaction with guests
I am on hand to give you any information you might want, but will leave you to your own devices if not.
Other things to note
The wonderful Frome Independent market runs on the first Sunday of every month, March to December. It's a great event, completely filling the town centre, with a wealth of artisan products, food of all kinds, live music and lots of people (and their dogs) all looking happy with life.
There's no smoking in the house, but you're welcome to smoke outside, in the courtyard garden.
No shoes please - socks or slippers.
