Where you’ll be

Solan, Himachal Pradesh, India

The neighbourhood is quiet and is meant for those looking to connect with nature and disconnect from the world. There is peace and tranquility with pine trees and mountains all around so the town is ideal for exploring on foot. Remember to bring your sneakers and gumboots in the rain / snow months!
This is a residential neighbourhood so please enjoy the space but respect others living nearby and keep the noise levels outside to a minimum.
A small hotel which is within walking distance (less than 1 km) has an outdoor cafe which is an great spot for a sunny lunch or a bon fire in the evening. There are several small spots nearby to enjoy the traditional 'desi chai' and Maggi.

Hi! My husband and I, your hosts, love travelling all over the world and have recently signed up on Airbnb to experience living like a local and to share our experience in the hills. We love trying local, fresh food and walking around cities to get to know them better. We also love trying out local bars and restaurants! Our doggo travels with us wherever he likes (and he also loves food!) :-)
