Our lovingly converted barn cottages overlook the stunning Gower coast and an ancient castle, just a short distance from our local village, which has post office, shop, garage, pub and bistro.. You’ll love my place because of the location, the views, the cosiness, the high ceilings, a quiet retreat just a short distance from the highlights Gower has to offer.. it is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets).
Set on a working farm, our beautifully converted barn and stable cottages are cosy, have underfloor heating, wood burner and all the quality amenities you would expect to find in a self catering holiday home, our local villages have welcoming pubs and restaurants, also an excellent community run village shop and tea rooms. Each cottage sleeps 4 guests (1 Double and 1 twin bed room in each cottage).
Our cottages have front facing view of fields in which we graze our sheep and horses which overlook the famous Gower coastline and Weobley Castle (see website for detailed information) for visitors all year round. Our cottages have open plan living/dining and kitchen space with a beautiful log burner and basket of logs/kindling ( further logs available at an additional charge).
The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave, washing machine, cutlery, crockery and cooking utensils.
As our 2 cottages are attached we can accommodate parties of up to 8 guests between the two cottages At the rate of £300.00 both cottages per night or they are let individually t a rate of £150.00 (4 guests) £100.00 for two guests in either double or twin, £25.00 add charge for each extra bed used.
Guests can park directly outside their cottage and utilize the patio space outside the cottage, over the festive season live Christmas trees and subtle decorations adorn. Each cottage has its own access.
Interaction with guests
We live onsite, in the farmhouse to the rear of the cottages, should you need any help at all during your stay, we can be contacted by telephone at any time (details in the cottages).
Personalised hampers (cheese/meats/Christmas/birthdays etc), locally brewed ale packages, wines and champagne can be arranged ready for your arrival by pre arrangement. Also available July through to end of September Gowers Salt marsh lamb is available Please ask for information on availability and pricing.
Other things to note
Booked guests will have a cottage with a welcome note on the open door the keys will be inside, for late check in just call me (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) to arrange.
Dogs and cats are allowed in our cottages and are charged at an additional £10.00 per pet per stay as a cleaning fee. With this we provide beds, bowls, towels and crate if required please state. Owners are requested not to allow pets to roam freely outside the patio area as we have animals onsite and are asked to clean up after their pets (doggy bags and bin provided). We kindly request that owners keep pets off the furniture in the cottages. There is no smoking in the cottages, smoking is allowed on the patio outside where ashtrays are provided.
